Historic Indian & World Tribal Arts: Santa Fe, now in its sixth year, is the August show that the New York Times dubbed “superb” in 2004. Collectors and savvy decorators will find a range of quality basketry, beadwork, textiles, pottery, jewelry, rugs, Western Americana, early weapons, and American folk art at the show. Early ethnographic arts from Africa, Asia, and Oceania, as well as Precolumbian and Spanish Colonial art and classical antiquities are also featured, all in beautiful gallery-style settings.
